be thankful for:

*the spot you find at the far end of the parking lot because it means you are capable of walking.

*the mess to clean after a party because it means you have been surrounded by friends.

*the taxes you pay because it means that you are employed.

*the clothes that fit a little too snug because it means you have enough to eat.

*the shadow who watched you work because it means you are out in the sunshine.

*a lawn that needs mowing, windows that need cleaning and gutters that need fixing because it means you have a home.

*your hugh heating bill because it means you are warm.

*the lady behind you in church who sings off key because it means that you can hear.

*the piles of laundry and ironing because it means you have clothes to wear.

*the alarm that goes off in the early morning hours because it means you are alive.

*weariness and aching muscles at the end of the day because it means you have been productive.

*getting too much e-mail may bog you down but at least you know you have friends who are thinking of you.
